We were shaped for serving God. At New Life we want each person to have the opportunity to use his or her God-given gifts and abilities to make a difference in this world. The following ministries exist to serve others:
Discovering Your Ministry
Members discover how God has uniquely shaped them for service and are challenged to join a ministry team at New Life.

Money Map Coaching
Trained Money Map Coaches providing biblical financial coaching will help you get on the road to financial freedom. A trained Coach will work one-on-one with individuals or couples who need to get their finances in order and help them develop a Spending Plan and Control System.

A. S. K. Prayer Team
A. S. K. is for anyone willing to ask, seek and knock for the prayer needs of others. You are invited to pray or come for prayer on Wednesday nights 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the Community Room Lounge.

New Life Bread Basket
This is a ministry of love and caring to our local community. Food distribution is the 3rd Saturday of every month, located at Epworth United Methodist Church, 805 E. Washington St, New Castle, PA 16101. To volunteer or to receive food contact Alice Garcia.

Job’s Garden ministers to the chronically ill by making “Fleece Prayer Blankets.” The Individual with chronic illness is prayed for each time a knot is tied while making the blanket. The blankets prayerfully made are distributed to convey God’s love, warm embrace and inform each each person they are personally prayed for. You can get involved by praying, donating 3 yards of fleece fabric, giving a monetary donation marked ” Job’s Garden “, or by donating your time to make or deliver a blanket. Call if you know someone who needs a blanket.

This ministry sponsors “Cabin Fever Breakout,” which is a wild game dinner/fellowship.

This team of dedicated women provides meals to families who are recovering from medical emergencies or to those who have experienced a death in the family.

This visitation team provides friendly fellowship and encouragement to the elderly and home bound.

Prayer Chain & Power in Prayer Team
Emergency requests are passed on through our automated phone tree to members of our prayer team to support those in need.
